Fs-3 Racing Switch To Bimota For 2026After six seasons as the official Kawasaki UK entry in the British Superbike Championship, the FS-3 Racing team will be making the switch to bimota machinery for 2026.

Working closely with the WorldSBK team, FS-3 Racing will be fielding two KB998 Rimini Superbikes and once again welcome AJN Steelstock as title sponsors for the season.

The all-new bimota KB998 Rimini has made a strong impression on its debut season in World Superbike, with Alex Lowes securing multiple podiums across the season so far. For 2026, the FS-3 Racing team will become the official bimota entry in the British Superbike Championship, receiving support from both Japan and the WorldSBK team, ensuring they can hit the ground running.

The unique KB998 Rimini Superbike features a bimota chassis and is powered by the proven Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR engine, the same powerplant that Christian Iddon used to take victory on recently at Assen. While the bike is changing for next season, FS-3 Racing is pleased to be welcoming AJN Steelstock back as title sponsors, with the team to be known as AJN Steelstock bimota.

“The team and riders have done a fantastic job this season with both riders on the podium and the Ninja ZX-10RR proving to be a great all-round package in this class. With Kawasaki UK taking on the distribution of bimota in the UK this year, we are delighted to be able to help with the switch of machinery for FS-3 Racing and help showcase the marrying of the Kawasaki and bimota brands.

We look forward to bringing a new brand to the grid and focusing on maximising the combination of the bimota chassis and Kawasaki engine on UK tracks in 2026.”

‘’After six years as Kawasaki’s official representative in BSB, we are flattered to be trusted with such an important opportunity to race the new bimota KB998 Rimini and contribute to its development. The project has started out on a very positive footing, and we have already been able to spend time in Barcelona receiving technical input from the BbKRT World SBK team. We are particularly pleased that the bimota chassis is powered by the ZX-10RR engine which we know so well. Our performances on the track this year have clearly demonstrated that the engine continues to be competitive in BSB, most recently demonstrated by Christian Iddon’s race win at Assen.

We are also delighted that Alan Boyden and the team at AJN Steelstock are with us again as title sponsor. Their support and encouragement is an important piece of the jigsaw puzzle that makes up operating successfully at the highest levels of superbike racing. The rider line up for 2026 will be announced at a later date.

The standard version of the bimota KB998 Rimini will be on display outside the FS-3 Racing hospitality unit across the Oulton Park British Superbike weekend.
