Worldssp: Masia Wins The Battle And Claims Bronze MedalWorldSSP: A second race win of the campaign was the reward for a hard charging Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura).

The lead battle was a seven rider scrap for much of the race but on Lap 10 the Spaniard took advantage of the fighting to open a lead of over one second. His consistency allowed him to widen the gap for the remainder of the 17 lap race to over three seconds at the flag.

The final lap of action saw the scrap for second decided. Having attacked Manzi (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) on the back straight Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) ran onto the grass and had to back off before winning a drag race to the line for second position by just seven thousandths of a second.

The closing stages of the race saw Can Oncu (Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team) lose touch with the podium riders. The Turkish rider was able to finish ahead of Matteo Casadei (Motozoo ME air Racing) in fourth position and deliver the Teams Award for Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team.
