Meet the Honda Racing Team: An Evening with McGuinness, Harrison, O’Halloran and Vickers
Motorcycle racing fans have the chance to meet four of Honda’s biggest racing names at Doble Motorcycles on Thursday 15th October, from 6pm to 8pm.
John McGuinness MBE, Dean Harrison, Jason O’Halloran and Ryan Vickers will be joining guests for an evening of racing stories, a live Q&A and the opportunity to get closer to the Honda Racing Team.
From the Isle of Man TT’s Mountain Course to the British Superbike Championship, the line-up brings together a wealth of experience across road and circuit racing. Guests can hear from the riders themselves, ask questions and discover more about life competing at the highest level.
John McGuinness MBE: John McGuinness MBE is one of the most celebrated road racers in motorcycle racing history. The Morecambe rider has built an incredible career with Honda, including an outstanding 23 Isle of Man TT victories and 47 podium finishes. A 30-year TT veteran, McGuinness famously became the first rider to break the 130mph average lap barrier around the Mountain Course in 2007. Awarded an MBE in 2021 for his services to motorcycle racing, John continues to race for Honda in 2026.
Dean Harrison: Bradford-born Dean Harrison is one of the leading road racers of his generation and a key member of Honda Racing. With five Isle of Man TT victories to his name, Harrison has also enjoyed success at the North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and Oliver’s Mount. In 2025, he produced an impressive TT campaign, winning both Superstock races and setting a 135.692mph lap — making him the third-fastest rider ever around the Mountain Course.
Jason O’Halloran: Australian rider Jason O’Halloran is a hugely experienced British Superbike racer and one of the most successful riders in the series. A 28-time BSB race winner, O’Halloran has spent much of his career competing at the sharp end of the championship, collecting 75 podiums along the way. After stepping away from BSB to pursue his World Championship ambitions, Jason became the 2025 Endurance World Champion before returning to Honda Racing for the 2026 BSB season.
Ryan Vickers: Ryan Vickers is one of the rising stars of British Superbike racing. The Norfolk rider has nine BSB race wins and enjoyed a breakthrough 2024 season, taking seven victories and finishing fifth in the championship. He then stepped onto the world stage in 2025, competing in the World Superbike Championship, before returning to BSB in 2026 as a factory Honda Racing UK rider aboard the Honda Fireblade.
The evening will also include refreshments and a raffle featuring Honda prizes, plus one-night-only special offers on Honda clothing and accessories—an opportunity to pick up official gear while enjoying an evening with the team.
Places are limited to 150 guests, so early booking is recommended.

Doble Motorcycles is a long-established family-run business founded in 1967 by Mike Doble senior and late brother Chris Doble. It all started with just one shop no. 88 Brighton Road, selling one or two-step-through mopeds and motorcycle servicing.
Chris managed the bike business while Mike set up a used car showroom across the road at 103, this also took off very well and thrived as the motor industry boomed.
Time moved on, and expansion was inevitable for the Motorcycle shop. Honda was increasing its model range rapidly with big sellers like the Superdream and CX500. The adjacent shop no. 90 was acquired and soon became filled with exciting new models.
But again the market grew, and the need to expand soon arrived. Seeming to take over one end of Coulsdon, No. 86 was sought and another 50% increase in size took place.
Honda’s market share also grew to keep customers coming back time and time again. It became apparent that car sales were not able to keep pace with the two-wheeled sales, so all resources were pooled together to once again double the business size to give huge choice and diversity to the customer. Selling and specialising in the world’s leading makes from day one has been Doble’s biggest strength.
Mike Doble Junior and Paul Styles now run the dealership along with Mike Doble Senior, Anne Doble, and a good enthusiastic and dedicated team who all love working with motorcycles.
