Venhill Upgrade Kits For Triumph’s New CrossersBritish-made cable and hose kits for the new Triumph TF 250 X and 450 RC motocrossers from Venhill.

Venhill have released UK-made control cable and hose upgrade kits for the new Triumph TF 250 X and TF 450 RC motocross bikes. Developed using feedback from MXGP teams, the kits deliver race-ready performance, lighter feel, and improved durability – with options for custom lengths and colours.

Venhill has introduced a complete set of control cables and hoses for Triumph’s new motocross machines – the TF 250 X and TF 450 RC – offering riders an instant upgrade to competition-grade performance, feel and durability.

Venhill cables and hoses have been a popular upgrade among off-road racers since the 1970s. Originally developed by the company’s founder – who was frustrated by the poor quality of control cables at the time – they continue to be trusted by top-level teams like the JM Honda Racing MXGP squad today, whose feedback is used to refine the designs.

Manufactured in the UK, the Triumph kits cover front and rear brake hoses, a clutch line and throttle cables, and are the same quality and specification as those used by supported teams.

The Powerhose Plus hoses feature a DuPont® Teflon® core for efficient fluid flow and high heat resistance. A marine-grade stainless steel braid surrounds the core to reduce pressure expansion and protect against damage – especially important in the demanding MX environment.Venhill Upgrade Kits For Triumph’s New Crossers

Throttle cables are made to Venhill’s high quality Featherlight specification. They use marine-grade stainless steel inner wire for minimum stretch, and a PTFE (Teflon) liner to minimise friction, improve throttle response and reduce the need for regular lubrication; a real benefit during off-road competition.

Each cable is also Bird-caged – a process that allows solder to penetrate the cable weave, creating a much stronger bond with the nipple. This greatly reduces the risk of breakage under repeated stress; reassuring for racers pushing hard on tough tracks.

Prices for the kits (including VAT) are as follows:

  • Front Brake Hose – £65.20
  • Rear Brake Hose – £45.35
  • Clutch Hose – £45.35
  • Featherlight Throttle Cable Pair – £43.73

All four can be ordered with extra length for custom setups, and come in a range of colours to match team liveries or add a splash of style.

Find them and view the full fitment list on the Venhill website at www.venhill.co.uk.
