Cardo Systems and HJC Helmets introduce HJC Packtalk, bringing the Full Cardo experience to HJC Helmets
Cardo Systems, the global leader in wireless communication systems for powersports riders, today announced the HJC PACKTALK, giving HJC riders access to Cardo’s premium PACKTALK experience through a communication system purpose-built specifically for their helmet. Developed in collaboration with HJC Helmets, the fully integrated system brings Cardo’s industry-leading Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) technology to select HJC models while preserving the helmet’s original design, fit and aerodynamics.
For riders, choosing a helmet is personal. Fit, comfort, protection, aerodynamics and style all factor into finding the right one. Developed collaboratively by Cardo and HJC, HJC PACKTALK integrates directly into the helmet, preserving its original design and aerodynamics while providing the connectivity, audio performance and rider-to-rider communication expected from Cardo’s PACKTALK platform.

At the heart of HJC PACKTALK is Cardo’s second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication technology, providing fast, stable and self-healing rider-to-rider communication for groups of up to 31 riders. Unlike traditional Bluetooth pairing, DMC allows riders to leave and rejoin the group automatically without disrupting the conversation, creating a seamless communication experience whether riding with a passenger, a few friends or a larger group.
HJC PACKTALK offers up to a 1.6 km / 1-mile communication range and features premium 40mm JBL speakers, Natural Voice Operation, integrated FM radio and up to 13 hours of talk time. Over-the-air software updates make it easy for riders to keep the system current.
The introduction of HJC PACKTALK also completes Cardo and HJC’s current integrated communication portfolio, giving HJC riders three purpose-built options depending on how they ride:
• HJC PACKTALK: The premium option, featuring second-generation DMC for groups of up to 31 riders, 40mm JBL speakers, Natural Voice Operation, a 1-mile range and up to 13 hours of talk time.
• HJC 4X: A premium Bluetooth solution for up to four riders, featuring Live Bluetooth Intercom, 40mm JBL speakers, Natural Voice Operation, a 0.75-mile range and up to 13 hours of talk time.
• HJC SPIRIT: A straightforward, durable Bluetooth communication system for up to two riders, featuring 40mm HD speakers, a 0.25-mile range and up to 10 hours of talk time.
Designed specifically around the HJC helmet platform, the integrated system maintains the helmet’s intended profile. The communication system becomes part of it, bringing helmet and connectivity together in a cleaner, more integrated package. The HJC PACKTALK is compatible with the following HJC helmet models:
• Adventure / ADV: RPHA 60 CARBON, RPHA 60
• Sport-touring / street: RPHA 72 CARBON, RPHA 72, RPHA 71 CARBON, RPHA 71, F71 CARBON, F71 , i71
• Touring / modular: RPHA 91 CARBON, RPHA 91, i91
• Open-face / urban: RPHA 31, F31
