The ‘Hachimaan’ GB350S made by Italy’s MAAN Motocicil (@motocicliaudaci) has been crowned the 2025 Honda Customs winner.

The 2025 competition built on the success of previous years, and put the spotlight on the A2-compliant GB350S – a bike loaded with retro style and evocative design details from front to back. Tapping into the simple, universal appeal of a motorcycle – two wheels, handlebars, an engine – the GB350S is the ideal template for the competition, allowing customizers to exercise their creativity, self-expression and individuality to the max.

Taking a total of 9,572 votes – 31% of the total 30,094 cast – on www.hondacustoms.com was perhaps the most extreme reinterpretation of the GB350S, the Hachimaan. Created by 2022 Hondacustoms.com champions MAAN Motocicil (@motocicliaudaci), the bike adopts a Japanese-Bobber style finished in a rich glistening blue, and sporting a number of custom components.

“Winning the second time around is a great satisfaction,” said Nicola Manca, founder and head of Motocicli Audaci. “The first time you might win by chance, audacity or other reasons: beginner’s luck. But winning the second time around is a confirmation that is always difficult to achieve and never to be taken for granted. It is a seal of approval that makes us realise we are on the right track”.

MAAN Motocicil become the first repeat winners of the competition, and are the fifth customizer to take top honours in the annual competition, following:

2024: Turkey’s Bunker Custom Cycles (@bunkercustomcycles) with the ‘Bunker Imprint’ reinterpretation of the urban scrambler-style CL500

2023: Portugal’s Art on Wheels (@artonwheelsgarage), who created the ‘Furiosa’ Dax in in collaboration with Tamara Alves (@tamara_aalves)

2021: Portugal’s Mototorfa Motorfa dealer (@mototorfa) – with the ‘Fenix’ CB650R

P2 Mia – Portugal

Exchanging blows with Hachimaan throughout the voting process was Portugal’s ‘Mia’, a retro styled bike that channells pure café racer style. Built by the team at Portuguese dealer TubaisMoto (@tubaismoto), Mia features a custom upright front fairing and an old school screen that exude pure 1960’s racer, plus a bespoke, low-slung blacked-out exhaust and wire-spoked wheels.

“We are delighted to have placed second in this year’s competition. Whilst we are obviously disappointed to narrowly miss out on the win, it has been fantastic to be involved in the contest, as it has allowed us to create a timeless, beautiful bike that has become a great draw in the showroom.” Xavier Paiva, Mia Project Leader at TubaisMoto.

P3 Grand (B)rix – Sporty Bike – Germany

Like in 2024, rounding out the podium in this year’s contest was Germany with the subtly beautiful Grand (B)rix Sporty Bike. Created by the team at the flagship Honda Centre dealership in Frankfurt (@hondamotorrad_de), Grand (B)rix Sporty Bike channeled a timeless look through a black and gold colour combination, and subtle modifications throughout, such as yokes dropped through the forks to lower the front end, new handlebars with more aggressive angle, new bar end mirrors and grips for a harmonious, cafe racer look.

“Our workshop team was able to creatively and impressively demonstrate everything that can be done with a motorcycle,” explained Klaus-Peter Kniedel, Motorcycle Press Relation Specialist for Honda Germany. “We are very pleased with the result and proud to be on the podium again in our third participation.”

Completing the competition’s top five were two of the stunning entries from Spain and Portugal’s Garage Dreams contest – the MBX350, built by Spanish dealer Servihonda Málaga (@servihondamalaga) and the Rocket Lion from Spain’s Honda Motor Center Leon.

P4 MBX350 – Spain

Focusing on a completely different decade, the MBX350’s look is defined by its squared off styling, and an iconic paint job evoking memories of the Spanish made two-stroke MBX80 of the 80’s. Re-finished wheels, forks and swingarm in bright silver (plus evocative Pro-Link decal in red) further differentiated the MBX350 from its rival builds, while period-correct square mirrors and a stubby Tavi exhaust system rounded out the modifications.

P5 The Rocket Lion – Spain

The Rocket Lion from Honda Motor Centre Leon (@motocenter_leon_hondamotos) utilised a modified RC181 fairing and screen up front, paired with a custom seat and rear cowling shaped to give the bike the riding position of an old school GP bike. Michelin Road Classic tyres, titanium hardware throughout, and an official Honda colour paired with a patina-finished oversize logo round out the look.

Hondacustoms headlines

2025 saw a record-breaking number of people visiting the hondacustoms.com  website over the summer to cast their votes. The total vote count of 30,094 represents an increase of 19% from last year, with over 7,300 people downloading the custom wallpaper of their chosen bike.

The vastly different directions that each of these bikes took is testament to the versatility that the GB350S offers as a base for customisation and personalisation. For those wishing to take a closer look at all of the 2025 builds, the www.hondacustoms.com page is still available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Users are still able to download a wallpaper of their favourite bikes for desktop or mobile, as well as share their choice of ‘liked’  bikes on their social media channels.
