Comfortair: More Grip, More Airflow, More MilesComfortAir: British-designed and tested motorcycle seat cushion gets its biggest update yet, backed by science.

ComfortAir, the UK-designed and tested motorcycle seat cushion, has launched a significantly updated range, bringing improvements to comfort, stability, and breathability.

Developed and backed by professional pressure-mapping data, the new ComfortAir cushions are the most refined version yet of a product that has already helped thousands of riders go further, for longer.

60% Less Slip: Micro-Move™ Technology

The headline upgrade for 2026 is the introduction of Micro-Move™, ComfortAir’s anti-slip material, which now lines both the base and the inside of the cover. The result is a 60% reduction in slip compared to the previous design, ensuring the air bladder stays in position, even during demanding rides.

An improved, breathable micro mesh outer also features, promoting airflow across the seating surface on long rides and helping to reduce the heat build-up that accelerates fatigue — one of the three key causes of rider discomfort identified in ComfortAir’s pressure-mapping research.

The Science of Comfort

ComfortAir’s design is driven by specialist thermal pressure mapping tests, showing rider weight distribution before and after fitting a ComfortAir. The results are stark: the areas where sustained pressure leads to numbness, fatigue, and pain are visibly reduced with the cushion in place. Less pressure means better blood circulation, less muscle fatigue, and significantly more miles before discomfort sets in.

ComfortAir’s own research showed most riders start to feel serious discomfort between 50 and 100 miles into a ride. The cushion’s network of interconnected air cells instantly redistributes pressure from one area to another, counteracting the unnatural riding positions imposed by almost every motorcycle; sport, adventure, tourer, or cruiser.

The air chambers also protect against shocks and vibration, and the spaces between them are shaped to encourage airflow through the cushion, reducing the hot-spots caused by concentrated pressure.

Engineered Inside and Out

Every 2026 ComfortAir cushion is built from three layers, each chosen for a specific job. The outer micro mesh surface promotes airflow. The Micro-Move™ anti-slip lining on the base and internal cover keeps everything firmly in place. And at the core, a puncture-resistant, UV-resistant air bladder holds up under sustained pressure and sun exposure.

Integrated paint protection side panels shield bodywork from scuffs and scratches, while elasticated straps with adjustable clips wrap securely around almost any seat without marking the bike.

Installation takes seconds — no tools required — and the cushion is compact enough to stow in a pannier or strap to luggage when not in use, and transfers between bikes in moments.

Properly British. Properly Backed.

Designed and tested in the UK, ComfortAir is backed by a manufacturer’s warranty and full parts support — including replacement bladders and covers available direct from the website.

The updated 2026 ComfortAir motorcycle seat cushion range is available now at mycomfortair.co.uk. The 2026 range contains three shapes and sizes, designed to suit different seat widths. Each one retails at £79.00 including VAT.
