Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour: Full-Optional TravelDucati presents the new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour. A model dedicated to Ducatisti who love limitless travel—in total comfort and safety—and view every departure as the start of a new discovery.

A concept that has inspired the Multistrada Grand Tour since its very first generation, historically linked to the European ‘Grand Tour’ as described by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in his famous essay *Italian Journey*

Designed to tackle long journeys from the very first kilometre, the Multistrada V4 Grand Tour offers a comprehensive configuration and an exclusive, unmistakably Ducati identity, defined by a unique livery that blends elegance with sportiness. It is a motorcycle configured around the rider, fully equipped with all the accessories needed to cover long distances “first class”, transforming every leg of the journey into a simpler, more comfortable and engaging experience.

The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is instantly recognizable thanks to its dedicated livery, rich in details such as the black finish on the handlebars, risers and triple clamps, as well as the “Grand Tour” branding on the rims. It comes standard with a radar system featuring Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW)—functions that enhance safety and riding comfort during long-distance travel. Also standard for safety are the TPMS (which displays tyre pressure on the dashboard), auxiliary LED lights, dynamic turn signals**, and a rear fog light; these features improve visibility and make the bike easier to spot at night or in fog and bad weather.

The techno polymer side cases, standard on the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour, are integrated into the bike’s livery. With a combined capacity of 60 litres, they allow you to carry everything you need, even on the longest journeys. The standard centre stand makes handling the cases easier and safer, whether mounting and removing them or opening and closing them.

Comfort on the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is further enhanced by standard heated grips and heated seats for both rider and passenger. Additionally, the hands-free fuel cap simplifies refuelling, allowing you to keep the bike key in your pocket at all times.

Whatever the destination, the Multistrada V4 Grand Tour retains the character that distinguishes every Ducati: V4 engine performance, handling precision and the thrill of tackling every curve. State-of-the-art assistance systems and technologies dedicated to visibility and vehicle control inspire confidence and peace of mind on the road, leaving room for what truly matters: experiencing the journey as an adventure of freedom, exploration and limitless discovery.

The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour features the Automatic Lowering Device, making the bike easier to handle during low-speed manoeuvres and stops. The system automatically lowers the bike by up to 30 mm when speeds drop below 10 km/h and returns it to riding height above 50 km/h. Meanwhile, the Easy Lift function reduces the effort required to lift the bike off the side stand by opening the suspension hydraulics when the ignition is turned on.

The Multistrada V4 is designed to let Ducatisti travel without limits and with total peace of mind, thanks to benchmark-setting maintenance intervals (valve clearance checks scheduled every 60,000 km) and the 4EVER Ducati and Roadside Assistance programs. The former offers a 4-year, unlimited-mileage warranty*. The Roadside Assistance program—included with all Multistrada V4 models—supplements the standard warranty with roadside assistance, transport for rider and passenger, a replacement vehicle and four-star hotel accommodation in the event of issues arising during the period of coverage. All this comes with the reassurance provided by a network of over 800 official Ducati dealers in over 90 countries worldwide.Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour: Full-Optional Travel

Styling

The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is enhanced by dedicated graphics that are both elegant and dynamic. The bodywork livery, featuring red Grand Tour accents and logo, is complemented by a black finish on the frame, swingarm, triple clamps, side cases and handlebar. The rider and passenger seats feature special detailing.

Engine

The 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine—Euro 5+ compliant—delivers 170 hp (125 kW) at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. Thanks to the Extended Cylinder Deactivation strategy, the rear cylinder bank is deactivated not only at idle when stationary but also under specific riding conditions; this helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 6% compared to the previous generation, without compromising the engine’s character or performance.

These figures are combined with sophisticated technical solutions, such as a counter-rotating crankshaft, which works against the gyroscopic inertia of the wheels. The result is smooth power delivery at low rpm, strong torque in the mid-range and high-power output at the top end.

Safety and Electronics

The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour benefits from the latest electronic advancements developed by Ducati. The Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) estimates the forces acting on the vehicle by simulating inputs from numerous virtual sensors, thereby improving the effectiveness of the electronic controls and refining the ABS Cornering and Ducati Wheelie Control strategies.

The advanced Electronic Combined Braking System manages brake distribution between the front and rear to ensure optimal performance based on riding conditions and load. The rider can also customize the Engine Brake Control level by choosing from three different intervention settings.

During emergency braking, the Ducati Brake Light EVO automatically activates the turn signals as well, enhancing the vehicle’s visibility to following traffic.

On the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour, the inertial platform communicates continuously with the Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) EVO system. Thanks to a new fork position sensor and predictive logic such as Bump Detection, the system adjusts suspension response in real-time based on road surface conditions, improving both comfort and riding precision.

The Auto-levelling function automatically detects the motorcycle’s load and maintains a consistent stance across various usage configurations. Riders can also adjust suspension response while riding by using a dedicated control on the left handlebar switchgear.

As with all motorcycles in the Multistrada V4 family, the Grand Tour is equipped with a phone-mirroring navigation system; this transforms the 6.5-inch TFT dashboard into a colour map-based navigator that also displays essential riding data.

Finally, smartphone mirroring capabilities—implemented via the Ducati Connect system—allow for simple, intuitive control of phone functions and music.Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour: Full-Optional Travel

Customization

Thanks to the Ducati Factory Made program, the Multistrada V4 Grand Tour can be configured with a level of detail akin to bespoke tailoring, eliminating the need for further aftermarket modifications. For the Grand Tour model, customers can customize the livery with brake calipers in various colours, select seats and suspension setups of different heights or enhance the bike’s appearance with carbon fibre components.

Colours and Availability

The new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour will be available at European Ducati dealerships starting in November, exclusively in the Grand Tour livery. Distribution will then extend to USA in December, and to Asian countries and Australia in April 2027.
