Honda Adventure Roads goes cinematic: Feature-length documentary debuts on global streaming platforms.
Following the success of the 2025 Rome to Istanbul adventure, Honda is thrilled to announce that the story of this epic journey is now available to a global audience. A new 48-minute feature film, focusing on the unique community and spirit of the event, is now available to stream on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
The documentary marks a milestone as the first time Honda Motorcycles has utilised major streaming platforms to share its storytelling. While the 2025 event saw 30 customer riders successfully navigate 2,500km from Rome to Istanbul on CRF1100L Africa Twin motorcycles, the film looks beyond the technical challenge of the route itself. It reflects Honda’s deep appreciation for its customers and the belief that motorcycles are true enablers of life experiences. Honda Adventure Roads exists to create a safe and professional environment where riders can place complete trust in both themselves and their machines, supported by expert tuition that allows confidence, skill and camaraderie to flourish.
Capturing the emotion of the journey, the film explores the bonds formed between riders of 19 different nationalities as they tackle rapidly changing landscapes across the Balkans. Viewers are transported from the sun-drenched tarmac of the Italian coast to rugged gravel trails and dense forest sections in Montenegro and Albania. Through shared challenges and unforgettable moments, the documentary shows how a diverse group of individuals is transformed into a close-knit Adventure Roads family.
Adding to the depth of the experience, the film features the expert presence of HRC Dakar Rally riders, including Adrien Van Beveren and Pablo Quintanilla, brand ambassador Kirian Mirabet and motorcross legend Dave Thorpe. Their world-class guidance and first-hand tuition reinforce Honda’s commitment to delivering these adventures in a controlled, supportive, and professionally managed environment, allowing customers to push their boundaries safely while fully experiencing what their motorcycles are capable of.
At its heart, the film highlights the powerful connection between rider and machine. As the 2025 story reaches screens worldwide, the next chapter of Honda Adventure Roads is already taking shape. For 2026, the series evolves with a move to the agile XL750 Transalp with Honda E-Clutch, further opening up adventure riding to a broader range of riders. The upcoming season will be split into two breathtaking instalments: the rugged peaks of the Pyrenees in June, followed by the high-altitude passes of the Alps in September.
