Worldssp: Second Superpole Of The Season For CasadeiWorldSSP: A stunning lap by Matteo Casadei (Motozoo ME air Racing) saw the Italian take pole position by three tenths of a second.

A time of 1’41.959 was rewarded with his second Superpole of the campaign ahead of Can Oncu (Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team) and Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) with three different manufacturers on the front row of the grid.

In the fight for third in the World Championship Jaume Masia trails Tom Booth-Amos by six points. The Spaniard qualified on the front row of the grid whereas his rival will start from 21st after a difficult Superpole that included a Turn 11 crash.

In his first outing as World Champion Stefano Manzi (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) qualified in 11th position. He’ll be joined on the fourth row by Roberto Garcia (GMT94-YAMAHA) who crashed at Turn 1 during the session and Valentin Debise (Renzi Corse).

P1 – Mattia Casadei
“I’m really happy. I enjoyed that lap a lot. We started the weekend well and felt the potential straight away. Taking my second pole of the year gives me great confidence. The team did an amazing job putting me in perfect conditions to attack. So thank you to them. Now I’ll give 100% to fight for the podium.”
